This project was developed as a creative entry for a local independent film festival in Bristol, UK, where I set out to explore the city’s evolving nightlife through a multimedia lens. Working in collaboration with Hold Tight Records, I researched how Bristol’s late-night culture shapes community, influences emerging talent, and fuels the identity of an upcoming record label.
The project took me deep into the clubs, venues and streets that define the city’s sound system heritage. Surrounded by the energy of underground music culture, I documented the people, spaces and atmosphere that make Bristol’s nightlife so distinctive. With vinyl playing a central role in the Hold Tight identity, the piece highlighted their vinyl-only events and the deep, bass-driven tones of dub and reggae that underpin their story.
The outcome was a visually rich, multimedia narrative that celebrated music, culture and place—capturing the creative spirit of a city built on good people and great sound.
