Working on the BlueScope digital transformation project, I worked within a unified, modern design system that could bring consistency to more than 50 global websites and internal campaign. The existing ecosystem was fragmented, visual styles varied across markets, platforms were disconnected, and the user experience lacked clarity for key audiences such as investors, partners and government stakeholders.
I helped develop a flexible, scalable UI/UX framework that modernised legacy interfaces while supporting rapid site duplication and localisation. This involved designing reusable components, motion behaviours, page templates and digital assets that ensured a seamless experience across every market. I created animations and interactive elements that made the system feel more intuitive and contemporary, while maintaining accessibility and brand cohesion.
The new global platform now delivers a unified, future-ready digital presence for BlueScope. The revamped design system has improved usability, strengthened brand consistency and contributed to increased traffic and stronger search visibility, establishing a more cohesive and sophisticated online experience for users worldwide.
